Behind the work

Farah Naz · 2025

01 / The process

The challenge

The original project needed to bring a clothing catalogue online and connect collection browsing with ordering. The business also needed a way to maintain products, collections and order records after the storefront was delivered.

02 / The process

Our approach

We implemented the initial storefront using PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap and JavaScript. Products are organised into categories and collections, with a cart and checkout flow that captures customer details, delivery options and payment preferences. The accompanying admin supports product and collection maintenance, featured catalogue sections, stock visibility and order handling. The frontend builds on an existing fashion-template foundation with project-specific integration and functionality. Scope note: this case study covers the original 2025 version. The client subsequently changed the website design; the current live design is not presented as our work.

03 / The process

The result

The original delivery connected catalogue management with an online browsing and order-placement experience. This portfolio entry documents that initial implementation and its features, rather than claiming authorship of the client's later redesign.
