Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Effective date: 29 October 2026.

1. About these terms

Nauctex is a technology business operated by Muhammad Taha as a sole proprietor in Karachi, Pakistan. In these terms, “Nauctex”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Muhammad Taha trading as Nauctex. “You” means the person using the website or, where applicable, the organization they are authorized to represent.

These terms govern use of nauctex.com and inquiries and applications submitted through it. Privacy practices are explained separately in our Privacy Policy at https://nauctex.com/legal/privacy.

By using the website, you agree to the terms relevant to that use. Paid services and product purchases require the applicable quotation, proposal, order confirmation or other agreement. Where a separately agreed term conflicts with these website terms, that agreement governs the particular engagement, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. What Nauctex offers

We provide technology services that may include websites, mobile applications, custom software and SaaS, AI solutions and automation, design, branding, hardware, embedded systems and connected devices. Nauctex Labs presents products we develop ourselves, which may include both hardware and software.

The scope of a specific engagement is the scope we agree with you. A service appearing on the website does not mean that every feature, integration, support service or third-party cost is included in every quotation.

3. Inquiries, quotations and agreements

Sending a contact form or requesting a Labs product starts a conversation. It does not by itself place a confirmed order, reserve stock, create a service contract or guarantee that we can accept the work.

Before an engagement begins, we will agree the applicable scope, deliverables, price, currency, payment schedule, responsibilities, expected delivery, acceptance process and any support arrangements. These may be documented in a quotation, proposal, requirements specification, agreement or order confirmation.

Changes to scope, additional revisions or new requirements may affect price and timing and must be agreed. Estimates and preliminary discussions are not a promise of a fixed delivery date unless expressly confirmed as such. Any quote validity period is the period stated in that quote.

You must have the capacity and authority to enter the relevant agreement. If acting for an organization, you must be authorized to provide its information and commit it to the engagement.

4. Information and materials you provide

Provide accurate information and keep relevant contact details current. Only submit information, files and materials you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person or submit someone else's application without appropriate authority.

For client work, you are responsible for the rights and permissions needed for content, trademarks, datasets, software, accounts and other materials you ask us to use. Any further responsibilities for data, regulatory compliance, approvals or production access will be addressed in the project agreement.

A general inquiry form is not a secure channel for passwords, bank-card information or confidential technical access. Where a project needs sensitive information or access, we will agree an appropriate way to exchange it. A separate confidentiality agreement can be arranged where needed.

5. Payments, delivery and support

Fees, deposits, milestones, taxes, shipping, payment methods and due dates are those stated in the applicable agreement or order. We do not collect bank-card details through the website's general inquiry or application forms.

For physical products, the delivery area, charges, expected timing, installation requirements and applicable warranty will be explained before the purchase is confirmed. For software and hosted services, the applicable license, access period, subscription charges, renewal or cancellation arrangements and support terms will be explained in the relevant product agreement.

Payment before delivery and payment on delivery are available only where expressly agreed. A product listing or inquiry does not establish a payment arrangement by itself.

Maintenance, hosting, updates and post-launch support are included only to the extent stated in the applicable agreement. No particular sales, revenue, search ranking or other commercial result is guaranteed unless an express, lawful commitment is included in that agreement.

6. Cancellations, returns, refunds and defects

The cancellation, return, refund and warranty terms applicable to a particular service or product will be provided before the transaction is completed. They may depend on the nature of the work, custom components, delivered milestones and the product supplied. Please review them before approving a quotation or making payment.

There is no blanket “no refunds” rule in these website terms. If a transaction has a problem, contact with your reference and a description so we can assess the appropriate remedy under the agreement and applicable law.

Completing or cancelling an engagement does not remove a valid complaint, warranty, refund or other legal right. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or remedies for defective goods or services where the law does not allow that exclusion.

7. Nauctex Labs stages and subscriptions

Labs listings may be marked concept, prototype, in development or available. Concept, prototype and in-development listings describe work at those stages; they are not promises of a release date, final specification or eventual commercial launch. Features, designs and plans may change as development progresses.

“Available” means a product is offered for discussion, purchase or use under its applicable conditions. Availability, compatibility, pricing and delivery must still be confirmed for your request. Development visuals, renders and demonstrations should be read with their accompanying description and are not a substitute for the agreed product specification.

Subscribing to product updates is optional. It does not reserve a product, purchase an interest in Nauctex or create a partnership. Promotional subscriptions require the consent stated in the form and can be withdrawn by replying to our emails or contacting us.

Expressions of interest in developing a product together are evaluated separately. Any collaboration, ownership, revenue-sharing or licensing arrangement requires a separate agreement.

8. Job and partnership applications

Submitting a job application does not guarantee an interview, employment or any particular response. A partnership application does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, employment relationship or authority to act for Nauctex. Any resulting relationship must be separately agreed.

Application information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Email verification confirms control of an email address for that submission; it does not certify an applicant's identity, qualifications or authority.

9. Intellectual property

Nauctex's branding, original website design, text and other original materials are owned by us or used with permission. Third-party names, logos, technologies and licensed materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not by itself imply sponsorship, certification or endorsement.

You may browse the website and share links to public pages. You may not copy, redistribute, sell or use our branding or protected materials in a way that infringes rights or misrepresents a relationship with us.

Ownership, licenses, source-code handover, design files, custom hardware designs and reuse rights for commissioned work are governed by the applicable project agreement. Payment or submission of an inquiry does not automatically transfer every intellectual-property right. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

10. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its security, distribute malicious files, submit fraudulent requests, send spam or interfere with other users. Security testing requires our prior written authorization.

We may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect the website, investigate misuse or comply with law. This does not remove obligations or rights under an existing agreement.

11. External services and website availability

The website may link to external platforms or use third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We do not control external websites and are not responsible for their content merely because we link to them.

We take reasonable care with website information but may correct errors and update descriptions. An error does not authorize us to misrepresent a product or disregard a confirmed agreement or applicable consumer rights. Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or events outside our reasonable control.

12. Responsibility and legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, a warranty or a remedy where doing so is prohibited by law, including applicable consumer protections. We do not attempt to exclude responsibility for fraud or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any allocation of risk or lawful liability limit for a particular business engagement must be set out in its agreement. These website terms do not impose a blanket liability cap on every product or service transaction.

13. Questions and disputes

Please contact first with the relevant project, order or application reference and details of the issue. We will seek to resolve it through discussion. This request does not stop you from exercising legal rights or meeting any applicable notice or claim deadline.

These website terms are governed by the laws applicable in Sindh, Pakistan, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. A dispute may be brought before the court or other authority with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a statutory right to use a competent consumer forum or other legally available remedy.

14. Changes and contact

We may revise these website terms for future use of the website and will show the last-updated date on the published page. Changes do not retrospectively alter a confirmed engagement without an agreed or legally valid basis. Additional product or service terms will be made available where they apply.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
