Wearable AI that sees products, reads labels and prices, and guides the wearer through a store by voice. Independence, not assistance.
Shopping is one of the everyday tasks blind and visually impaired people most often need help with. We set out to change that.
Vision Assist combines an on-glasses camera with computer vision to recognise products, read labels and prices aloud, and describe the surroundings, so the wearer can move through a store and choose for themselves.
The current prototype is being refined for accuracy, battery life and comfort as we move towards real-world trials.
